3d Asset design: Final + thoughts

Overall I am very happy with the result, despite a few issues.

The bit I liked most was the little doodles and goofy text I made, as well as the outlining, I thought these came out really well and reminded me of the textures in games like ‘A short hike’. I genuinely just had a really fun time doodling and adding texture this way and would be interested in doing it like this for future 3d models in future personal, professional and university projects.

There was two issues, both of which come from a shoddy UV job, where the textures stretched weirdly and caused weird lines and I couldn’t add details, these mostly appeared on the planks of wood.

On the cylinders there was some white lines that wouldn’t be coloured in no matter what I did, but luckily that was on the back.

So for future 3d models I will practice uv unwrapping more so I can avoid these issues in the future.
