VFX – Editing the video

I edited this in wondershare Filmora, which is a progam I have at home

Of course first thing I did was crop everything and put it into the vidoe timeline on the music cues.

This went rather quickly.

But there was some slightly more complicated bits.

First was the ‘Conjuring spell’
I really wanted to add a cat.

A lot of free to use ones on google were AI generated, which I am morally against.
So I found a photo of my old cat, Beetle.

I used Microsoft’s background removal to cut him out.

I then used some basic key frameing to make him slide into frame.
And put it over a stock video clip.

Next was dealing with all the Text bits.

For the first clip I added a couple key frames to make him slide to the side.

I then added a little advert and slide that in at the same time.

For the prince comparisons:

I used a splitscreen preset and added text with fade ins over teh top for the prices.

For the final shot I simply put some text and slowly lowered it on.

but there were some issues.

Issue 1: The messuped up clip.

I had one clip, where I didn’t film it properly…. SOMEHOW!
So the effect signfier thing was still there.
I really really didn’t wnat to re do it sooo…

I covered it up!

With a text bubble..

Issue 2: Red text

So confession, I couldn’t work out hwo to render the clips. So I just recorded the camera with unreal. Unfortuately the computers didn’t like that and kept

putting that annoying red text yelling about processing issues in the top corner.

I tried to cover it up.
It didn’t work.
I just have to live with it..
